Although Rancho Mission Viejo's longevity and success are often taken for granted, the reality is that the ranch would not exist today without a true sense of stewardship on the part of The Ranch family, which has owned and managed it since 1882. While many of Orange County's early ranching families are gone, the O'Neills and their descendants remain as stewards of the land and advocates for responsible growth.
