Jeremy Laster is the President of Rancho Mission Viejo and is responsible for the daily management of all Rancho Mission Viejo enterprises, including larger scale master-planned community development, land management (The Nature Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo), ranching and farming, commercial properties and investments.
Mr. Laster joined Rancho Mission Viejo in 2001, and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the company.
Over the past 22 years, Mr. Laster has overseen the development and operation of more than 2.0 million square feet of commercial real estate assets, over 2,500 apartment units and the planning and construction of Rienda, the newest village at Rancho Mission Viejo.
Mr. Laster currently serves on the Community Board at Providence Mission Hospital, and as a director of the Santa Margarita Catholic High School Eagle Foundation, the Rancho Mission Viejo Land Trust, the Moiso Family Foundation, and chairs the Gentlemen’s Haberdashery. Past involvements have included serving on the boards of the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation, Stanford Professionals in Real Estate, the Round Table of Orange County, the Foundation for the Undefeated, and USA Water Polo.
He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Stanford University, where he also was a two-time NCAA champion and three-time All American on the varsity water polo team. He went on to represent the United States in Water Polo at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, skiing, and reading.
Born and raised in Orange County, Mr. Laster currently resides in Ladera Ranch with his wife, Frandy, and their six children.
