Esencia Farm Featured in USA Today’s Green Living Magazine

There’s nothing like plucking a fresh tomato from the vine and popping it into your mouth. The sweet and earthy taste is delicious, but when you have the additional satisfaction of growing it, well—that’s a deeply nourishing experience you can’t buy from a store.

It’s a time-honored way of life for some, and a fun hobby for others. With the growing popularity of farm-to-table culinary experiences and increased focus on healthy and sustainable ingredients, gardening is enjoying a resurgence. Community farms are a great way for children to learn about food, eat farm-fresh produce, and bring the neighborhood together.

That’s the concept behind The Agrihood™. More and more communities are promoting healthy living and sustainability by adding farms, trails, and preserving natural habitat.

Our very own Esencia Farm was recently featured in Green Living, a USA Today magazine, about the increased popularity of conservation communities. We’re proud to be part of a growing interest in urban farming and natural conservation, and we hope that the movement continues to grow.
