WestFest Brought Country Vibes to The Ranch
On Saturday, August 13th, we rounded up family and friends for a boot-wearin’, line dancin’ good time! RanchLife presented WestFest, an exciting night filled with barbecue, mechanical bull riding, a western trunk show, great country music performed by The Silverados, and much more, at Sendero Field.
RanchLife is our approach to lifestyle programming, organizing events and partnerships that connect you to the natural habitat, trails, clubhouses, and each other. WestFest is one of the signature events held on The Ranch each year, and residents were excited to be a part of the fun for another year!
A Fun Fandango
Last Saturday, Sendero Field was transformed into the Old West! Approximately 500 people hitched up their wagons and came out to visit the ole watering hole, pose for fun themed photos in the photo booth, and try their hands at roping. Even our little buckaroos had the chance to throw their lassos and round up some (faux) cattle, which made for a fun time…and adorable photos!
Corn hole and a mechanical bull were two crowd favorites, enjoyed by kids and adults alike!
And, when our residents at Sendero and Esencia weren’t trying to tame a bull or round up their cattle, you knew you could find them on the dance floor! Country band, The Silverados, performed some fantastic western tunes for the hoedown, and guests enjoyed dancing and singing into the beautiful evening sunset.
Chow Time at The Ranch
No event on The Ranch is complete without delicious bites, and WestFest was no exception. Throughout the evening, guests feasted on scrumptious Beach Pit BBQ, tasty corn dogs, and crunchy funnel cakes.
We would say it was another RanchLife event for the record books. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make WestFest 2016 a wonderful time!
